Lawrence Abu-Hashish, then 35, was driving his sedan near Griffin Road and 30th Street in Broward County when Rodrigo Mayen Ramos’ sedan struck the back of his vehicle. Ramos conceded liability. Abu-Hashish was diagnosed with a disc herniation at L4-5. He claimed he continued to have pain and difficulty walking for long periods. He claimed he had lifting limitations and was unable to pick up his small children and play with them as he used to.
