A jury found that a club’s security wasn’t to blame for dental injuries that a patron claimed he suffered during an altercation with another customer.

Ryan Mancebo, then 23, was at the Blue Martini restaurant and bar in Boca Raton when he claimed the patron threw a shot glass in his face, knocking out four upper teeth. He had four titanium implants installed to replace the teeth. Mancebo’s counsel claimed his client and the other patron were engaged in an argument that went on for a significant time. They claimed the club’s security should have noticed the arguing and intervened.
