A Miami federal judge has dismissed a civil rights lawsuit filed by the Miccosukee Indian tribe against top Obama administration officials, citing a lack of jurisdiction and failure to state a claim.
The lawsuit filed in August claimed the federal government worked with the tribe’s former lawyers and chairman to collect the financial records of tribal members for an Internal Revenue Service investigation of members.
