Akerman has launched an emerging companies practice, a new firmwide focus on startup companies, business incubators and venture capitalists.
The new practice area will be co-led by Jeremy Shure, of counsel in Akerman’s New York office, and pull about 30 lawyers from corporate, labor, tax and intellectual property areas.
