A federal prosecutor told jurors Tuesday that they should believe convicted con man Scott Rothstein and convict a former attorney at his law firm of helping extend the life of his $1.2 billion Ponzi scheme.
Defense attorney Valentin Rodriguez countered in closing arguments that his client, Boca Raton attorney Christina Kitterman, was duped by her boss through a series of frantic phone calls and emails. Rodriguez said Kitterman simply was doing what the chairman of the 70-attorney Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler told her to do: confirm information she thought was true.
