Tew Cardenas will officially close its doors April 1 following the death of Miami law firm co-founder Thomas Tew, managing partner Joe Rebak said Wednesday.
Co-founder Al Cardenas decided to leave for Squire Sanders & Dempsey less than a month after Tew died Jan. 27, and a group including former U.S. Attorney Dexter Lehtinen left to start their own firm, Lehtinen Schultz Riedi Catalano De la Fuente.
