A year after the state Judicial Qualifications Commission recommended a public reprimand for a Palm Beach County court judge, Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Ricky Polston carried out the recommendation.

Judge Barry M. Cohen, standing silent and somber before the Tallahassee bench on Tuesday, listened as Polston said: “This should be a sad day for you. It is a sad day for us. But most importantly, this is a sad day for the entire judiciary.”
