A jury awarded $364,974 to a woman who claimed she has residual neck and shoulder pain from a motor vehicle collision.

Deanna Weber-Hollihan, then 45, was driving her 2005 Nissan Armada SUV on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach when a Kia Spectra sedan being driven by Heather Bass rear-ended her. Bass conceded liability. Weber-Hollihan was diagnosed with a disc herniation at C5-6 and a partial rotator cuff tear. She underwent chiropractic treatment and physical therapy, and eventually a cervical fusion. She claimed she has pain when she bends her neck to look down and while sleeping.
