A jury found a Broward County’s sheriff’s deputy had probable cause to arrest a boy who he claimed took part in a fight at a school.
The 12-year-old boy identified in court papers only as N.C. claimed he saw a fight break out near a football field and students began to scatter after police arrived. He claimed he ran behind a structure to return to his father, who had accompanied him to a sporting event.
