Coalview Ltd. LLC is lining up financing for a $50 million fine coal processing plant the Coral Gables company wants to build near Pottsville, Pa.
David Schwedel, Coalview’s executive director and lead investor, said the company recently put agreements in place for a ground lease for the plant. Coalview also has obtained contracts to extract fine coal from wastewater impoundments in the region.
