A North Palm Beach law firm was slapped with an emergency restraining order Wednesday sought by Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi and the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau for alleged mortgage modification scams.
U.S. District Judge James Cohn in Fort Lauderdale granted the motion, entered an ex parte temporary restraining order with an asset freeze and appointed a temporary receiver for the Hoffman Law Group.
