Fred Buckine, the husband of Florida Supreme Court Justice Peggy Quince, died in Tallahassee, the court said. He was 75.
The Bradenton native served as a prosecutor in Manatee and Hillsborough counties before becoming a Hillsborough County judge. He would later serve as a general counsel for the state Department of Transportation.
