When attorney David Boden gave a deposition in 2010, he openly sobbed. Boden proclaimed his innocence and said lawyer-turned-criminal Scott Rothstein deceived him.
Protests aside, Boden joined more than two dozen people charged with crimes associated with Rothstein, who is in prison for running a $1.2 billion Ponzi scam. Six weeks remain until the five-year statute of limitations expires on Halloween, the anniversary of the fraud’s collapse.
