Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi is under pressure to drop appeals of state court rulings striking down the state’s same-sex marriage ban.

She had been asking to delay action in the Florida cases until the U.S. Supreme Court weighed in on the issue. After the high court decided Monday not to hear any cases from five states, a couple who sued in Oklahoma picked up a marriage license, and more were expected to follow.
