The fight for control of the Fashion Mall makeover in Plantation reached into a new court with a bankruptcy filing, leaving the majority owner fuming over an attempt to liquidate the companies leading the project.
The companies behind the mall’s makeover filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy protection Tuesday, days after a court ruling ousted project manager and minority partner Wei Chen.
