The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday reversed a drug conviction as it quashed evidence obtained by tracking the real-time movements of a cell phone.
In a 5-2 vote, the court ruled officers improperly used a warrant to charge Shawn Alvin Tracey, a Cape Coral resident who came to Broward County for a cocaine transaction.
