A Miami-Dade circuit judge ordered Broward Circuit Judge Laura Watson and her attorney to split a $84,500 bill for legal fees in a lawsuit rejected by the defendants as a sham.
Judge Beatrice Butchko, presiding as an outsider in a case involving a Broward judge, said Stephen Rakusin of Fort Lauderdale and Watson each owe $42,250 to the attorneys for the Miami law firm of Stewart Tilghman Fox & Bianchi, William C. Hearon P.A., Todd S. Stewart P.A, as well as Larry S. Stewart and William C. Hearon, individually.
