Steven Lippman, who was sentenced to three years in prison for helping convicted Ponzi scammer Scott Rothstein make illegal campaign contributions, is suing to collect back pay from the law firm that gave him a job after Rothstein Rosenfeldt Adler imploded.

In March, just days after being released from federal prison, Lippman filed suit in Broward Circuit Court against Rice, Pugatch, Robinson & Schiller of Fort Lauderdale. He was released a year early based on his cooperation with federal prosecutors, which helped them secure the conviction of former RRA partner Russell Adler, according to court documents. He is reportedly living in a halfway house.
