David Prather, who is running to be president-elect of the Florida Bar, was charged with driving under the influence in 2012 in Palm Beach County.

The charges against the partner at Clark, Fountain, La Vista, Prather, Keen & Littky-Rubin were reduced to reckless driving, and he did not face any Florida Bar disciplinary action. He told the Daily Business Review he voluntarily submitted to a substance abuse evaluation by the Bar and was cleared.
