An online survey by the Daily Business Review about West Palm Beach attorney David Prather’s campaign for president-elect of the Florida Bar shows 65 percent of respondents support him—for different reasons.

About 45.7 percent say Prather should have a clean slate after a 2012 drunken-driving arrest because he completed a substance abuse program, according to the unscientific survey of readers. Another 19.6 percent agreed with the statement, “We’ve all had a few drinks and gotten behind the wheel of a car.”
