U.S. District Judge Robin Rosenberg found a Fort Lauderdale property manager and a New Hampshire attorney in contempt for defying a preliminary injunction imposed in 2013 to stop raids on a New York-based real estate investment fund.
Rosenberg on Nov. 24 adopted the report and recommendations of U.S. Magistrate Judge Patrick Hunt, who concluded the former property manager of HPC US Funds 1 and 2, Dale Wood, and attorney Craig Salomon of North Hampton, N.H., knowingly disregarded the injunction by selling a fund property in Idaho about two months later.
