Three tobacco companies were swatted with a $4 million verdict in favor of the family of a Boca Raton man who died of cancer.
Following a two-week trial before Palm Beach Circuit Judge Meenu Sasser, Debra Perrotto received the verdict. She was the wife of Nicholas Perrotto, a smoker since age 12 who died in 1996 at 56, according to Jonathan Gdanski of the Schlesinger Law Offices in Fort Lauderdale.
