A California attorney was sentenced Friday to 17 years for his involvement in a five-year stock manipulation scheme.
Mitchell J. Stein, 53, of Hidden Hills, Calif., was convicted by a jury in May of conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, three counts of wire fraud, three counts of securities fraud, three counts of money laundering and one count of conspiracy to obstruct justice.
