A Miami woman injured when her kitchen ceiling collapsed while she was cooking was awarded nearly $250,000.
Leslieanne McClain, 32, a waitress, alleged she suffered a dislocated thumb because property owners Adam and Maritza Levine failed to maintain the property in a reasonably safe condition. She contended she notified the property manager about a ceiling crack before the incident and the manager assured her it was in good condition.
