While preparing to issue same-sex marriage licenses for ceremonies starting Jan. 6, South Florida clerks of the court have not yet made a definitive decision on whether to do so.

“As of right now, we don’t have a definite plan,” said Cathy Kellerman, court operations manager for the Broward Clerk of the Courts. “We are prepared, and we know basically what we will do once the word is given. But we’ve not made a definite decision.”
