Maybe it was a case of overlooked paperwork, but a homeowner who faced multiple default judgments despite filing responses came out on the winning side of a wrongful foreclosure case in the Third District Court of Appeal.

The case, Morlock v. Nationstar Mortgage, pitted borrower Christopher Neil Morlock against lender Nationstar Mortgage LLC, which had secured several victories in Miami-Dade Circuit Court.
