A dispute over a sidewalk has mushroomed into a $200 million lawsuit by a group of developers against the city of Aventura.

Prive Developers LLC and BH3 Management LLC say the city repeatedly stalled their luxury condominium development, risking millions of dollars in buyer deposits and lost spending. They filed suit in Miami-Dade Circuit Court demanding a jury trial and charging the city with breach of contract, equitable estoppel and tortious interference.
