Broward Circuit Judge Hope Tieman Bristol knew she wanted a career in law, even while some encouraged her to become a professional cantor.
Born in Brooklyn, Bristol’s family moved to South Miami when she was 8. Her mother worked as a bookkeeper for noted criminal defense attorney Joel Hirschhorn.
