Manny Crespo Jr., a partner at Sanchez-Medina, Gonzalez, Quesada, Lage, Crespo, Gomez, Machado & Preira in Coral Gables, was recently sworn in as the 41st president of the Cuban American Bar Association.

Crespo, 45, made history by becoming the first openly gay president of the powerful, 2,000-member-plus voluntary bar association. He spoke about his partner and children at his swearing-in Jan. 31.
