The Florida Supreme Court has disciplined 14 South Florida attorneys, including four who were disbarred.
Rashmi Airan-Pace of South Miami, the target of a mortgage fraud investigation, was granted a disciplinary revocation, which is equivalent to disbarment, and will be allowed to seek readmission after five years. He pleaded guilty in December to federal fraud conspiracy for making material misrepresentations on real estate closing documents and facilitating the transfer of funds through accounts under her control, knowing the money being paid to buyers was not being disclosed to lenders or on U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development settlement statements.
