A decade in the making, the new $140 million Miami-Dade Children’s Courthouse named in honor of retired juvenile court Judges Seymour Gelber and William Gladstone officially opened Friday to great fanfare.
Hundreds heard speeches by Chief Miami-Dade Circuit Judge Bertila Soto, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez, former U.S. Sen. Bob Graham, Miami-Dade Clerk of Courts Harvey Ruvin and Gladstone before the formal ribbon-cutting.
