As in most real estate deals, the recent transfer of a Coconut Grove landmark came down to location, location, location. But the multimillion-dollar sale of the marina and retail complex at 2550 S. Bayshore Drive that contains Monty’s Raw Bar was not mainly about that site’s Biscayne Bay frontage, an attorney that participated in the deal told the Daily Business Review. Instead, it was the site’s location within walking distance of a growing neighborhood that truly shone.
