The Florida Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism has panels in every circuit to mentor misbehaving lawyers and correct their behavior two years after mandating the confidential complaint system.

However, not enough people know about the panels, and more promotion is needed, members said Thursday at the annual Florida Bar conference in Boca Raton. Questions also remain about whether the cases should become public records.
