A Miami affordable housing developer is facing up to 45 years in federal prison on charges that he was part of a $10 million kickback scheme involving housing tax credits.
Gonzalo DeRamon, a co-founder of Coral Gables-based Biscayne Housing Group LLC, allegedly conspired with general contractors Rene Sierra and Arturo Hevia to defraud the state’s housing finance agency, Florida Housing Finance Corp.
