Miami-Dade Circuit Court’s probate division will soon be able to conduct hearings in private rooms.
The division’s judges and staff have been displaced from the crumbling Dade County Courthouse and have been working in temporary quarters without walls since May 2014. The space on the eighth floor of Overtown Transit Village North is split by cloth-covered partitions, which go no higher than 2 feet from the ceiling.
