Details: Former University of Miami football player Rasheed Ali was waiting at a stoplight in Surfside on Aug. 7, 2013, when a UPS truck heading north on Collins Avenue turned left onto the wrong side of the road, hitting Ali’s car.
Ali came away from the accident with a closed head injury, cervical herniated disc, lumbar herniated disc and a shoulder injury.
