The owner of a Crossfit gym in West Palm Beach won’t back down from a trademark fight with apparel maker Nike Inc. and hired Pike & Lustig to do the heavy legal lifting.
Gym owner Matt Brewster has prevailed in part in its battle against the retail juggernaut’s opposition to his trademark application, which Nike claims ripped off its “jumping man” silhouette featuring basketball legend Michael Jordan.
