A storied Miami Beach estate where President John F. Kennedy reportedly had trysts with actress Marilyn Monroe has been cleared for sale amid protracted cross-border litigation by the French government to recoup about $187 million from convicted father-and-son real estate fraudsters Leon Cohen Levy and Mauricio Cohen Assor.
The nearly 2-acre property at 5930 N. Bay Road has been vacant for years, caught in litigation between lienholder Regions Financial Corp. and CDR Creances SAS, a French government agency with court awards against the Cohens.
