Two Miami lawyers are defending “Empire” co-creator Lee Daniels against a $10 million defamation lawsuit filed by actor Sean Penn.
Stroock & Stroock & Lavan partner James Sammataro and associate Jose Garcia-Tuñon removed the case from New York state court Tuesday to federal court for the Southern District of New York.
