A former sales representative who claims he was fired after reporting concerns about alleged kickbacks at medical equipment maker Biomet Inc. filed a whistle-blower lawsuit Thursday in New York Supreme Court.
Michael Swiss, who worked for Biomet’s Palm Beach Gardens subsidiary, Biomet 3i Inc., alleged he was fired in March 2011 following a 13-month campaign of harassment and retaliation in violation of his rights under the anti-retaliation provision of the New York False Claims Act.
