The general contractor for a 63-story luxury condominium tower in downtown Miami won a $23 million damages award in an insurance case.
Fort Lauderdale-based Pavarini Construction Co. built the 516-unit 900 Biscayne Bay tower, which opened for occupancy in 2008. The project facing Biscayne Bay at 900 Biscayne Blvd. reportedly cost $175 million, and condos sell for up to $5.7 million.
