Miami-Dade County Court Judge Steve Leifman found his calling in a state mental hospital.
Leifman was a 17-year-old legislative intern, sent to look in on a young man held there. He found him strapped to a table by his wrists and ankles, being dosed with the antipsychotic drug thorazine.
