Hialeah street vendors argued Monday that an appellate court should overturn city restrictions that they claim violate the Florida Constitution.

The Florida Association of Vendors is challenging provisions of a Hialeah city ordinance that keep vendors from displaying their goods and from staying in one place. They argue the laws violate vendors’ constitutional right to earn an honest living free from unreasonable government restrictions.
