A law firm is bringing the ’90s back with its latest client: a man suing Starbucks Coffee Co. for dropping hot coffee in his lap.

Christopher Romano suffered second-degree burns to his groin after a Starbucks employee at a Pompano Beach drive-thru “failed to confirm [Romano's] hold of the cup,” spilling the coffee in his lap, according to a lawsuit filed Wednesday in Broward Circuit Court.
