The Miami Downtown Development Authority is working with the Florida Department of Transportation to keep the Brickell Avenue drawbridge closed during rush hour in an attempt to relieve the traffic gridlock caused by aggravating openings.

After noting repeated openings during three time periods when the drawbridge is supposed to stay closed, the city agency has teamed up with Lydecker Diaz partner Alex Tirado-Luciano to present the issue to the U.S. Coast Guard.
