Broward Circuit Judge Cynthia Imperato plans to retire at the end of February, Chief Judge Peter Weinstein confirmed Tuesday.
Weinstein said Imperato notified him of her decision Feb. 9, which means the judge gave nearly three weeks’ notice. He expects her to provide a formal notice to Gov. Rick Scott by Friday.
