A national department store chain has been exonerated in a premises liability case.
Shopper Dagmar Hejda, then 52, claimed she slipped and fell on water while retrieving a shopping cart in front of a Palm Beach County Wal-Mart in February 2014. Hejda sued Wal-Mart for negligence and was ultimately diagnosed with disc bulges as well as right knee meniscus and ligament tears.
