Several bar associations in Florida have passed resolutions opposing a bill calling for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on state appellate judges.
The Dade County, Palm Beach County and Hillsborough County bar associations approved measures opposing the proposed term limits for Florida Supreme Court justices and district court judges. The resolutions mirror one approved by the Florida Bar board of governors in December.
