Fort Lauderdale attorney Howard Talenfeld and his PR maven wife, Julie, filed a lawsuit to force developer Robinette Homes Inc. to turn over control of the Hawks Landing homeowner association to the residents of one of the most affluent communities in Broward County.

The developer’s attorney, William Sklar of Carlton Fields Jorden Burt in West Palm Beach, said the lawsuit is without merit since Robinette legally controls the association.
