A San Francisco-based investment group paid about $231,000 per apartment buying a 16-acre complex in southwest Miami-Dade County.

The 228-unit Bridges at Kendall Place at 8485 Hammocks Blvd. caught the eyes of more than 75 investors scattered across the globe, said Jaret Turkell, Miami-based managing director at HFF.
